Vehicle Systems

The CDNZ Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CVTESS) is a laser and radio frequency based system utilised in live simulation training to simulate the effects of realistic battlefield conditions for armoured vehicles, light skinned vehicles, bunkers, and fixed targets. The CVTESS system simulates battlefield effects from eye safe lasers and RF based mine simulators.

The CDNZ CVTESS system is capable of stand-alone use as well as being inter-operable with the CDNZ Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS), Land Mine Effects Simulation System (LMESS), Anti-Armour Weapon Simulation System (AAWSS), and real-time Combat Training Centre (CTC) application (where using GPS and radio links, real time reporting and recording of events during the exercises is possible and exercise commanders can take actions in real time as the exercises are in progress).
