Cubic Defence New Zealand

Providing Cost-Effective, Tailored Simulation Systems for Military, Law Enforcement Organizations and Police Worldwide

Cubic Defence New Zealand Limited is a leading supplier of training systems for defence forces around the world. The CDNZ simulators allow the users to train troops in the field providing a high level of realism, enforcing correct procedures and yielding outcomes that would be expected in actual operation. Training outcomes range from procedural use of equipment and field craft to tactical aspects of an exercise obtained from during/after action review. The current range of in-service products includes infantry, armour/vehicle and Combat Training Centre (CTC) systems.

The training uses a number of core technologies. Weapon simulators are laser based, allowing simulation of weapon systems ranging from an infantry soldier's rifle through to high fidelity main battle tank systems. Devices such as mines, grenades and the like are radio based, providing localised area effect. The addition of radio/GPS instrumentation for a Combat Training Centre (CTC) provides a perspective of the whole field, allowing real-time viewing, judgement and training in the tactical aspects of an exercise.

CDNZ's position as a leading supplier of training equipment has been established over a history spanning more than 12 years. In that time over 50,000 simulators and CTC systems have been supplied to customers into 16 countries. The equipment range has been proven in service over time, and is continually expanding to meet new requirements.
